My life has been guided by a throughline of love:
Love of artistic expression, love of place, and my deep love for all animals.

I hesitate to define my artistic style as it is constantly changing and I always welcome that change. What does not change is what motivates me and why I do the work. I am compelled to implement several styles to express my soul and spirit’s interpretation of what I see and feel. My “inner landscape.”

Much of my work has been inspired by my inexplicable connection to East Africa: the savannahs, the animals, and the complicated energy of place. While I’m working on canvas, board or paper, I return to that state of grace I feel while on safari. For me, it’s like being in love.
